Le Parabole di Gesù

Leggi in italiano

In short. The app requires no account, collects no personal data and contains no tracking or advertising. Your journal, favourites and progress stay on your device. The only data leaving your phone concerns your purchase, and it is handled by Apple.

Data that stays on your device

Everything you write and do inside the app is stored locally, in the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is never sent to any server, neither to the developer nor to third parties:

Deleting the app deletes this data with it. You can also erase it at any time without uninstalling, from Settings → Erase my data.

In-app purchase

The app offers a one-time purchase that unlocks all parables. Payment is handled entirely by Apple: the developer never sees or receives your payment method, card number or billing details.

To recognise who has purchased and allow restoring on another device, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., which processes an anonymous identifier generated by the app, purchase status, and technical information about your device and operating system version. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address or Apple ID.

RevenueCat's policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

Legal basis: performance of the contract, that is, delivering what you purchased and letting you restore it.

What the app does not do

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled by your own device. It never passes through a server, and you can turn it off from the app or from iOS settings.

Journal export

The export feature creates a text file with your entries and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the destination: the file is not sent anywhere automatically and the developer receives no copy.

If you contact support

From the settings you can open a support email or suggest a parable. The message is sent from your own mail app and reaches the contact address together with the email address you write from. These emails are kept only as long as needed to reply.

Offline content

Texts, illustrations and audio are bundled with the app and work without a connection. No content is downloaded while you use it, so the app keeps no record of what you listen to or read.

Your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 you have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

It is worth being clear about which data actually exists, because there is very little of it and it is of different kinds:

Since the developer cannot identify you from purchase data alone, exercising your rights over that data requires you to supply something that makes the link possible — typically the Apple transaction ID found in your purchase history. This follows Article 11 of the Regulation, which does not require a controller to collect additional information for the sole purpose of identifying you.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data, so it does not knowingly process data relating to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new update date.
